When the Clackamas County Sheriff's Department goes on a domestic disturbance or accident call involving children, they make sure to bring along a fleece blanket or stuffed animal to give to the child for some comfort and distraction from the situation. The Sheriff's Department could always use new toys, so Suburban Auto Group is working with the Rose City Corvette Club to help! On February 22, the Rose City Corvette Club will hold their regular 7:30 p.m. meeting at our dealership, where members will bring stuffed animals or cozy blankets, which will in turn be donated to the Sheriff's Department.
We would love your involvement in this cause. Whether you come to the meeting with your donation, or come by our dealership before February 22 to drop off a blanket or stuffed animal, it all goes toward our goal of making a difficult situation a little more tolerable for children.
Check out our pictures above of last year's toy drive. We'd love to get even more donations than last year. We hope you can help make it happen, and we hope to see you soon!
